Bitdefender is good at detecting malware and disinfecting PCs, but had some difficulty in blocking brand-new malware. BitDefender takes a little longer to install than most of the other antivirus products we looked at, as the process includes not just installation but various setup options as well.

Kaspersky Anti-virus 2011 blocks new malware attacks and is easy to use, but it slows system performance excessively. Kaspersky was one of the better-performance programs at running manually initiated on-demand scans.It scanned 4.5GB of files in 1 minute, 43 seconds, trailing the fastest performance by only 13 seconds and clearly surpassing the average scan time of 2 minutes, 21 seconds.
4.G-Data Antivirus 2011
G-Data Antivirus 2011 is solid package, with strong malware detection, blocking and removal capabilities. The main interface clearly indicates your PC’s protection status, through it does lack the “master’ everything-is-protected-and-configured-correctly status indicator that’s present in many antivirus products.

5 .Trend Micro titanium Antivirus+ 2011
Trend Micro provides solid single protection: advanced users, however, may find its lack of customizability frustrating. it has moderate impact on Pc performance in our tests, finishing right around average for the products we looked at, Scan speeds were mixed bags.

Avira put up decent scores in detection and blocking. But its interface needs a makeover, and it may slow your PC. It has good performance at malware detection and blocking. But it has seriously slows system performance.
8.Panda Antivirus premium 2011
It is an effective defender, through it’s one of the slower antivirus products we tested.
It has to effectively detects, blocks and removes malware. It had some of the slowest scanning speeds in our tests.
9.Eset NoD32 Antivirus 4
Eset NoD32 Antivirus 4 is fast, its malware detection and cleanup capabilities are lacking: blocking was average. it blocks new malware reasonably well; scans fast. It has trouble detecting known malware.
10.GIFI Vipre Antivirus 4
It offers a fast application Its designs are cluttered. It does fast scans and has little impact on PC performance. But it is ineffective at blocking new malware.
